Repair Terms
By submitting equipment for repair with IC Audio Repairs you agree to the following:
Inspection
An initial inspection fee applies to all items before any repair work is carried out.
The inspection fee is typically £25 for smaller items, including monitor speakers, small amplifiers, desktop audio equipment, pedals, compact mixers and similar-sized units. For larger, heavier or more complex equipment, including subwoofers, large amplifiers, valve amplifiers, powered PA speakers, large mixers and similar items, the inspection fee is typically £45.
The inspection fee covers up to 45 minutes of work. If the fault can be repaired within the inspection time, there will be no additional labour charge. Any required parts will be quoted separately.
No repair work will be carried out without customer approval.
No VAT is charged, and there are no hidden fees.
Estimates
Repair estimates are based on the initial diagnosis. If additional faults are discovered during repair, approval will be requested before proceeding.
Repair charges
Labour is charged according to the time required for diagnosis and repair.
Unrepairable equipment
In some cases equipment may be deemed beyond economical repair.
Collection of equipment
Customers will be notified when repairs are complete. Equipment should be collected within 15 days where possible.
Abandoned equipment
Equipment not collected within 90 days may be considered abandoned.
Liability
While every care is taken during repair, IC Audio Repairs cannot accept liability for consequential loss or damage arising from equipment failure.
Warranty
Repairs are covered by a 30-day warranty on the specific repair performed.
Repairs are carried out by appointment only.
Payment is required upon collection.
